چکیده

This research was carried out to assess the effect of aggregate skeleton, temperature variation, and loading duration on resilient modulus asphalt concrete mixtures. Two different gradation methods, i.e., conventional method Bailey gradation, were adopted design skeleton. The these with duration, has not been previously investigated. Modified Marshall Test used determine optimum binder content against 4% air voids, then volumetric strength parameters calculated content. For performance tests, specimens prepared at using a Superpave gyratory compactor. An indirect tensile test both types mixtures conducted, 20% value kept for peak load, whereas 10% seating load conducting tests. tests conducted 100 300 ms loads under two temperatures, 25 oC 40 oC. results declared that temperature, have prominent disclosed higher values than Higher observed low temperatures small high large loads. two-way factorial also confirmed above findings. Investigating the Effects of Temperature and Loading Frequency on the Resilient Modulus of SBS Polymer Modified Asphalt Concrete in Dry and Saturated Conditions

Resilient modulus of pavement materials is a key property required for the pavement thickness design. This paper describes the results of an experimental study on the effects of temperature and loading frequency on the resilient modulus of a SBS polymer modified asphalt concrete under dry and saturated conditions. Dynamic creep tests were conducted on dry and saturated specimens of the mixture ...

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

the evaluation of language related engagment and task related engagment with the purpose of investigating the effect of metatalk and task typology

abstract while task-based instruction is considered as the most effective way to learn a language in the related literature, it is oversimplified on various grounds. different variables may affect how students are engaged with not only the language but also with the task itself. the present study was conducted to investigate language and task related engagement on the basis of the task typolog...
